Thirsty Thursday | Revolution Brewing, Rosa Hibiscus Ale

With our travels we are tend to visit our friends south of the border in Illinois quite a bit, particularly Chicago. With being in Chicago so much that means always a visit, even a quick one, to one of our favorite stores known as Binny’s. For those of you NOT in the know basically it is a huge grocery store for liquor and it’s amazing (and fairly priced!) That said, we normally find all sorts of great deals and craft beer we normally we can’t find many other places. One of those such beers is a Chicagoland is Revolution Brewing!

We love Revolution Brewing beers. Every one we have had (which has been many!) are all totally awesome! Unfortunately I am ashamed to say we haven’t had a chance to visit their tap house yet, but I guess now we have a goal for this summer! One of their beers we had picked up was the Rosa Hibiscus Ale. This delicate and subtly flavored beer is a great way to attempt to welcome spring (not quite yet in these parts) but with a hint of orange peel and real hibiscus you can drink this beer from a can or pour into a glass all day long and at an abv of 5.8% isn’t bad for such a light beer either. If you ever have the chance to try this I highly recommend it!
