Since next week we will be headed to Milwaukee for a few days I
thought it would be fun to feature one of our Milwaukee weddings from last
summer, Sarah & Darren’s!
Sarah is originally from Wisconsin though she and Darren live in
San Diego, California (where is family is from) so it was really important to
them to feature some of the best elements of Wisconsin and Milwaukee.
Their ceremony took place at the gorgeous Milwaukee SailingCenter on the shore of Lake Michigan and the amazing champaign bar Cuvée in the
Historic Third Ward part of Milwaukee hosted their reception. With lots of pops
of bright colors, beautifully selected details including handmade jam by
Darren’s grandma for favors lots of work went into making such a special day
even more remarkable!
Since they do live all the way on the other side of the country
we haven’t had the chance to visit with them since the wedding but we are
looking forward to spending some time with them this fall when we shoot Sarah’s
brother David’s wedding in September!
We loved working with Sarah and Darren, it was so clear how absolutely
happy and how in love they were!
